The annual P6 football tournament was hosted at Mount Pleasant playing fields on Wednesday 10th May. It was a great occasion in the sunshine with the year 13 Sports Coaching class ably assisting with the running and officiating of the event. In what was a fiercely competitive competition, 10 local schools took part with the 2 group winners, Lowwood and Harmony Primary Schools making the final. Harmony Primary School managed to beat the defending champions Lowwood to become 2017 champions. The attitude of all teams competing was a credit to the schools involved and the future of Model football is certainly bright judging by the talent on display.
