Friends of the Cancer Centre

Claire Hogarth from the charity 'Friends of The Cancer Centre' visited the school to receive a cheque for £2000 from the pupils. This money was raised during the month of November through a variety of means. Around 20 staff participated by growing moustaches with money was raised through assemblies, through 'Just Giving' page online and through a coffee morning. Claire was able to give the pupils an overview of the charity's work and how the money would be put to good use in supporting patients and their families in dealing with cancer.
