Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh practice walks took place this weekend in the Mournes for Year 11 and 12 pupils. The hikes took place around Silent Valley, Ben Crom Dam, Hare's Gap and up and down many mountains - Hen Mountain, Slieve Meelmore and Slieve Bernagh. They had their tents up in record time so they could enjoy their food in the evening sun. The weather was superb and over the 3 days the boys demonstrated teamwork, resilience and a desire to succeed. Well done boys!
