Literacy for Life

Year 8 and 9 enjoyed a ‘Literacy for Life’ Event Day with a number of exciting activities. Literacy is extremely important to be successful in life and this was highlighted to the boys with all the tasks they had to complete.

The boys used their reading skills to solve a Murder Mystery in the library, create story comics and make origami football shirts/footballs.

‘Reading for Meaning’ was the focus of the Literacy Sporting event which brought out everyone’s competitive side! There were lots of prize winners and the boys (and staff) thoroughly enjoyed the event.

Well done boys!
