Today, the Boys’ Model celebrated World Book Day with a wide range of activities around the school.
We had pupils designing posters and making personalised bookmarks in class, in Home Economics the pupils were able to make “Plushnuggets” using the recipe from Roald Dahl’s “The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me" and at break time they pupils were able to enjoy ‘Wonka’ milkshakes and ‘Twits’ jelly.
Pupils in Year 8-10 also received a free book with some containing a ‘Golden Ticket’ to win a prize.
The staff also got in on the act, dressing up as characters from their favourite books.....I think you can see they enjoyed it as much as the pupils.
