Digital DNA with PwC

Some Year 10 pupils got the chance to see a snapshot of the huge range of employment opportunities that will be available to them in the future in the Technology industry. They took part in this Digital DNA event, getting the chance to see first hand the breadth of what is happening in the technology world in Belfast. It took place in Merchant Square, the new PwC buildings in Belfast, in this amazing location they got to see what PWC do and work through tasks that they might encounter if they worked there.

The pupils chatted with current Tech degree Apprentices on a range of topics such as the benefits for working for PwC and the many entry pathways into the company.

After lunch the pupils walked down to an employee’s event in St. George’s Market where they spoke to companies such as BT and start-ups to see what they do in Northern Ireland and Belfast. They boys enjoyed VR racing with Eddie Ervine’s karting, which PWC helped to develop. It was a great day for the boys and we a huge thank-you to PwC for inviting us to this event.
