Today, some Year 13 pupils attended a conference at Edinburgh University. This was the culmination of a year long project in conjunction with IRIS, QUB and the Royal Society of Chemistry, titled Towards Greener Fragrances.
Our pupils had the opportunity to listen to lectures on acadenic research. They also presented their own reseach in poster form, answering questions and explaining their findings. They even got to use a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) that might spend some time in BBMS in the coming academic year! Well done to all involved.
