Hospitality Take Over

The Year 13 Food Science and Nutrition class attended the Springboard Hospitality Take Over event at The Culloden yesterday. It started out with a Blind Taste Test of ingredients to guess the dish we were making with Henderson's - Fifteens!

Staff from Belfast City Airport talked the pupils through their range of career opportunities and the various pathways. The boys were then treated to a hand massage (their favourite part of the day), before moving on to developing their hospitality skills of understanding silver service and napkin folding. Their day was finished with a 'Mocktail' making class and a virtual experience with Tourism NI. Thank you very much to Springboard and The Culloden for providing such a realistic experience of the Hospitality Industry.
