On Tuesday 13th November, 14 pupils attended the Urban Affinity workshop day in Oh Yeah Music Centre, Belfast. The pupils had the opportunity to work with music industry professionals such as Micky Modelle (DJ), Mairead Campbell (BBC Radio 1 producer), among others. They learnt how to create ringtones using Logic Pro, composed dance tracks using the Launchpad app, produced a radio show and participated in a DJing 101. Micky Modelle was so impressed with the DJing skills of the boys! The afternoon ended with a rousing percussion workshop. It was a very informative and enjoyable day!
