We are super proud of our past Head Boy, Jack McKinney!! Studying medicine at QUB and in his first year, Jack was awarded the Platinum Jubilee Scholarship in a prestigious ceremony at QUB today. Also unveiled was a new portrait of her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Well done Jack 👏👏👏 #welearn #wesucceed

Ice Hockey Success!!

We are delighted to hear that past pupil Kell Beattie has been selected to represent GB under 20s this coming December in Lithuania. Kell is currently playing between the Belfast Giants and Solway Sharks in the hopes to follow his dream of becoming a professional ice hockey player. We are so proud of Kell and his amazing achievements. #wesucceed #makingmodelmen

Principal for a Day!

Head of Year 12, Mr O’Loan, was promised that if his year group beat last year’s GCSE results, then he could be principal for the day. And these boys smashed it! 👏🏾

Year 12 students received a fantastic set of GCSE results today 🎊🎉 We knew these boys were good…but they have blown us away by their achievement – the best GCSE results in the school’s history!! These were the first set of exams since the pandemic making the boys’ success even more meaningful! So proud of you all! #makingmodelmen  

4C UR Future LIVE Event

Year 9 pupils attended the 4C UR Future LIVE event at St. Georges Market yesterday. The output of the event is a Positive Feedback Profile for each pupil that highlights their top 10 attributes. The boys took part in digital games and activities to baseline and record their skill/attribute development. It was a fantastic event and was great to see the boys taking part in a wide range of activities and working with both their peers as well as pupils from other schools.
