AS and A2 Level Revised Grades Information

AS and A2 pupils:

You will have heard Minister Weir’s announcement yesterday that all AS & A2 students receive the highest of either their teacher assessed grades or the grade already provided. New AS and A2 results will be issued in due course and we await the details of that from the exam boards. We appreciate these have been difficult days for some of you and that next steps are dependent on the issue of the revised grades.

Any Year 14 pupil who will have an uplift to an A2 grade, due to new guidance issued yesterday will receive a phone call before 1pm Tuesday 18th August.

Year 13 pupils will ONLY be emailed if there is an uplift in their grade this afternoon and Mr. McBride, Head of Sixth Form will be in contact tomorrow if a return to school interview is still required.

We advise that if you have just received your A Level results, keep an eye on your personal email so that you do not miss any updates from UCAS. Following recent announcements, UCAS are working closely with awarding bodies to receive students’ revised grades and they are aiming to share these with universities and colleges by this Friday, 21 August.

Remember, if you already have a place through UCAS, this will not change – it’s still yours if you want it.

Record Breaking A-Level Results in Belfast Boys' Model School

Congratulations to our Year 14 pupils on their fantastic A-Level results!  An incredible 74% of pupils achieved 3 A*-C grades.  This is considerably higher than the NI average and reflects the hard work and commitment of our pupils and their teachers.

We are extremely proud of these young men who, in these turbulent and uncertain times, have gained qualifications that will help pave the way to a bright and successful future.
